Visiting Room 6

We visited Room 6 today and gave our 'thank you' cards to our buddies that helped us at the swimming pool.

 

Room 6 performed a fantastic Christmas song for us and we shared the two songs that we've been practising with them too.

Consulting Mr Dolan

 

 

Yesterday we completed our signs and decided where the best place for them to go would be. We remembered all the places where we had found a lot of rubbish and highlighted them on a school map.

 

We wrote about where we would like our signs to go and tried to make our writing more exciting by using interesting verbs.  

 

We took our signs and ideas down to Mr Dolan and asked him if we could put our signs around the school to help people to remember to keep rubbish out of Ilam School.

He told us we were wonderful environmentalists and that our signs were a brilliant idea. He asked us if we could share our signs at the whole school assembly so that everyone would know about them.

 

YAY! We are excited to hang, hammer, tie, push and display our signs!
