Dan the flying man

After reading our big book we wondered what Dan the flying man might need if he were going to fly up into space.

We began inventing and creating rocket ships and devices to help him get into out of space.

Common features were boosters, safe compartments for Dan to sit so he doesn't fall out, and fire blasters to destroy any approaching rocks that might be floating about in space.
