A balanced diet

Today we helped Harold the giraffe at Jocko's birthday party.

Jocko LOVES bananas and only eats bananas. He fell asleep at his party because he had no energy.
We talked to Harold on the phone
 to suggest  some different foods for Jocko to eat to have a 'balanced diet'.
We also looked at other things our bodies need to get energy...
 
water for our brains,
oxygen for our lungs,
washing to keep clean,
exercise to get strong,
food for our stomachs,
love from our whanau (family),
and plenty of sleep.
