We used our senses to describe some of the highlights from our holidays. We used adjectives and similes to help paint a picture in the reader's mind.
Something I did with my body was scooting and I jumped like a kangaroo. |
Something I saw with my eyes was a volcano erupt a lot of lava. It was in Africa. It was as tall as the classroom. |
Something I tasted with my mouth was juicy, green grapes and they were yummy. |
Something I did with my body was play happy games. |
Something I saw with my eyes was a funny clown at a concert. |
Something I tasted with my mouth was chicken nuggets and a chilli hotdog. |
Something I saw with my eyes was a baby koala and it was as grey as a raincloud. |
Something I did with my body was go to the pools and I was as happy as a dolphin. |
Something I did with my body was push the game's buttons as fast as lightning. |
Something I did with my body was slept as long as a lion on my bunk bed. |
Something I tasted with my mouth was sweet candyfloss and it was as purple as Chazaya's reading folder. |
You can read more in our big book in Room 12.
